When choosing a dog and wondering which breed.
December 19, 2014
When you have made the decision to get a dog, and then have to make the next decision "Which
dog is right for me" how should you go about it ??
Well the best way to go about it is to narrow down which breed you think would be right for you, do research on the web to help you narrow down that special breed. Then go out and talk to the people that would have the most exposure to all sorts of breeds such as a groomer or a vet. or dog trainer and ask them questions. So often people just go by what they have read on the web and
and it is not always correct. If you find that the dog you pick may not fit your life style , these people can help you find the right fit. Then go vist a breeder and meet the adult dogs and see how you feel.
I can not stress how important this is, I own a siberian husky and so many people have gone and bought one only to have it go to the pound as they were too much work. They like the way they look but did not do the research on how much work they can be. It is not a dog that someone should get that does not have alot of experience with dogs.
So do yourself and the dogs a favour and do the research before getting a dog.
