Brushing your dog's teeth
December 11, 2014
It is always a good idea to get in the habit of brushing your dog's teeth, if you keep up with brushing your dog's teeth they will be in better shape. Then when you have them cleaned at the vet there will hopefully not be so much work to be done on them, less time your dog has to be worked on and saving you money as well.
If you have a puppy , get the puppy use to having you run your finger in the puppy's mouth that way he
will eventually get use to having a toothbrush in his or her mouth.
If your dog is older its not too late just practice with your finger or a toothbrush in the dog's mouth a little at a time. Don't spend too much time doing this, begin with a few minutes a day and then add more time to the cleaning as he or she gets use to it.
