Touching your puppies paws.
December 10, 2014
When you get a new puppy it is a really good idea to get the pup use to having his paws touch. The reason for this is he will then be use to people touching his paws and this will make it so much easier for the dog
to have his nails trimmed or the fur on his paws trimmed.
Good majority of dogs do not like it when their paws are touch which can make nail trimming dificult. So if
you practice this when they are young it will make things so much easier.
It is never too late , if your older dog hates his paws touch , and really hates nail trims, just start slowly each day and give him/her a little paw rub and slowly the dog will become use to having his paw touch!
